I haven't had a problem with my ARs reliability-wise. I just keep them clean and have no trouble.

Red locktight on anything with threads.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Truth!! Use high quality parts to begin with. No need for "reliability mods" whatever that is.

Ditto on higher end parts. I have expensive builds but that was my goal to begin with. Clean, I mean clean well, and lube (good lube) I like Slip 2000 EWL. They will run long and hard.
Seekins Battle Arms Dev. JP Enterprises CMC (Texas Co.) or Timney triggers KNS Precision (Texas Co.) Strike Indus. etc.......

I hear not being an [censored] on the forum will help with AR reliability.

I've never found a need for trying to improve reliability. They just run and run for thousands of rounds. But I don't shoot steel ammo.

Put as much stuff as you can bolt on. This is a good start.

In all honesty a good trigger is one of the best things you can do to improve accuracy on any AR that has a milspec or similar trigger

My solution is to take two maybe three AR's

1.) Clean and lube it every time you shoot it. 2.) Run the bolt fairly wet. 3.) Don't use steel cased ammo. 4.) If you don't mind spending a couple hundo, slap on a piston kit. Direct impingement blows a ton of fouling into your chamber.
