See for yourself...

For a 384 vs a 640 the ATN Thor HD held its own and 1,800 cheaper...

That is my personal opinion I think the video speaks for itself. This is NOT out of the box settings this is everything set up for the best image on both units.

At higher Zoom the 640 beats the 384 hands down. But the fact that images at base magnification are so close says a lot about the Thor HD.

True or False question

Did ATN sponsor your trip to SHOT show 2017?

You're being evasive - I'll clarify

True or False: Did ATN provide you a pass to attend SHOT show 2017?

Note: SHOT is not an open to the public event , you either need to file as a company or media or consultant and if you're not deemed to qualify then you may attend as a guest by a qualifying party - the host pays the fee for your attendance.

Why is this relevant to your unbiased comparison if these two products...

Well if your aligned with one company and not the other then it'd be very hard to accept your comparison "personal opinion" as unbiased.

I'm not saying that Independent reviewers can't exist- heck if you Prostaffer for all the optics companies that be great as long as you maintain some etiquette - which of course doing slanted comparisons of equipment that isn't fully released to market versus a product that has been out for sometime would be a no no.

Reviewing products in a standalone fashion is probably best if you're trying to be an Independent reviewer, let the viewer/consumer look at each of your testing and evaluation videos as standalone and afford them the opportunity to extrapolate their own conclusions from each video.

So back to the question - be honest...

I did get a badge, yes and I did a stand alone review on the Pulsar

It is not a bad scope, and there are some things I like about it more than I like about the ATN.
Split screen mode
One push button to white hot/black hot
The rechargeable battery that comes with it
The eye cup fits your eye better
When it records, it records the whole screen and not just the optical of what it is seeing.

Well I'm so glad you didn't tell an untruth about getting a badge/ticket/pass because there really isn't a reason to not say the facts - good on you.

There are a limited number of these passes that get handed out , usually to people who make business promises to the host company, let's be honest it isn't like any regular guy can call up ATN and say Hi I'd like to go to SHOT as your representative (because that's what you're doing you're wearing their name around your neck the entire time while in the halls) - so the nature of your agreement with ATN is none of my business or anybody else's frankly BUT...

How you portray yourself on this forum needs to be worked on, for example -

When the Xsight II was coming online there were initial supply shortages and a whole lot of discontent from BETA owners (Gen 1) and you used to sport "ATN Authorised Dealer" (your spelling) in your signature line. Well it started to get a bit dicey with all the above around that product so you take the sig line off and disavow being a dealer instead saying "I just sell their accessories". You must be one accessory selling son of a gun to go to SHOT...

Then you get back from SHOT and decide to say that your "business partners" invited you out being quite clear in your action to not name them directly - seems you are trying to maintain a safe distance from ATN on this board - I think your trying to seem unbiased and Independent. Well it isn't working...

Then you post this thread and continue to swat away at the ideal that your ATNs guy, come on Man be proud of what you're doing and respect ATN by being a full disclosure kind of guy. I think in the long run that would serve us all better because you're not out thinking or out smarting anybody.

In fact this standalone review you claim to have done is nothing more than an image assessment and menu walk-through - that's all that is , you can't claim the Pulsar is a good or bad scope because you haven't used it , shot 300 rounds or fielded it for 2 months, frankly you know very little of the scopes true capabilities but you want to compare it to a scope that you have intimate knowledge of (I'm sure you'd be glad to share that with people if they asked and you'd be proper in doing so based on your experience in the field with one).

Let me be clear when you start a thread like this one and do a slighted (tongue in cheek "see for yourself") comparison you are actually, based on all the above secrecy about your true business position and standing with ATN, engaging in Schill type behavior.

Anyhow that's what I see from where I sit - I won't be referring people your way for business or showing your videos as examples until you start being 100 percent honest about what you're doing.

Again be proud of what you have - it's no small accomplishment to be invited to a national trade show by a big company, I know a bunch of guys who don't make videos and don't sell accessories that would have loved to go to the SHOW.
