Does anyone have any experience with a bad Boy Buggie, specifically the Ambush. I used to have a golf cart for the deer lease but is was really rough on the lease roads. I assume they are better now but don't know anyone that has one. I like the fact that the Ambush is electric or gas. Any insight, pros/cons would be helpful.

Just bought one last week.....so far so good, killed 7 hogs last weekend while breaking it in. The gas mode is a little low on power compared to a Ranger or other SxS and it runs like a gas golf cart....push on the gas and it starts, let off and it dies. Electric mode is like normal. You can also put in dual power mode for more power. It is perfect for the hunting I do and my property which is fairly flat with a few hills. If you want a workhorse SxS and will be pulling a trailer, going through thick mud, running up and down hills, or want to run full blast then it isn't really built for that. If you want something like a Bad Boy Buggy with the option of sneaking around quietly in electric mode or gas mode then it is perfect for that. I'll use mine 90% for deer and hog hunting and filling feeders and checking cameras. I didn't want a strictly electric Bad Boy because I leave it at my property and don't keep it plugged in and I didn't want to worry about the batteries being dead and not being able to ride it. Also, I've hunted in a buddy's Bad Boy before and had a battery issue and we got stuck...the nice thing about the Ambush is if the batteries run out you can fire up the gas mode and keep going. The biggest draw was having both options...I do a lot of thermal hunting at night and it sure makes it easy to sneak up on the hogs without a gas motor making noise.
