I have been getting into knife making and I know there are a lot of fellers on here that partake in the same hobby. Which is your favorite online store for stock and scale material? I think I've started with O1 tool steel since it is more forgiving on the quench. Also, is there a physical location in North DFW that sells materials? Any input or advice would be appreciated.

The 2 I dealt with were Jantz Supply in Davis Oklahoma south of OKC. The other is Texas Knife Maker Supply at Houston.

Jantz as well.. 1084 and 5160 are the most forgiving on the quench. 01 does require some soak time. just saying.
