All it needs now are the windows and the door

Isn't the best way to save face to keep the lower part shut?

Nice. That would probably work well on the platforms I'm building. But you obviously have the skills to handle that task.

It is a 6' octagon with 3" thick eps foam. 1 1/2" on exterior and 1 1/2" foam infill at 1 5/8 stud walls with a polymer based adhesive imbedded fiberglass mesh. It weighs about 100# so far. I need put in 12x12 deerview windows, door, and the floor. I hope to keep under 160# but won't know exactly how much it will weigh until I put it on a scale. Will be completely air and water tight and hopefully easy to warm up for my daughter to be comfy

I'm in the stucco and drywall industry and it is based off of the EIFS system

If you don't mind me asking, how much do you have in it?

So, your outer walls are just 1 1/2" foam sheets?

I think the description says that there is an outer layer of fiberglass and epoxy. That should make it pretty tough and strong enough for a bit of wind or wear.

how did you secure the foam to the frame and how did you finish out the interior?

The exterior is durable and will handle trailering. I am still working on the interior. I just got the windows from deerview at the Oklahoma hunting show yesterday . Will post pics of interior when it is completed.
Foam is held on with a poly mechanical washer with a screw in the center.

The main reason for building this blind is sometimes when I'm hunting the temps can be anywhere from 40 deg to -20 with 20 mph winds. I want my daughter to be comfortable and warm. I hunt in Nebraska and North Dakota. This is the first prototype as I ma going to try and build about 5 before season.
I can handle the -20 due to advances in clothing. I only bow hunt but my daughter has no limitations on any deer she wants to shoot with a gun, however she enjoys going with me so I want her to be comfortable

You are a good dad. I learned that years ago and will now do it for my grandkids. If you want them to hunt with you then you have to make it comfortable for them. You will be glad you did. I just built a 6x12 insulated stand cause the grandkids are coming.

I once drank muddy water out of a hoof print and was dang glad to get it.
