Tired of running the vmax/amax. Red tips keeps getting deformed or breaks off from loading a round and unloading it over time
Want to change bullets for a
308 ar-10
338lm
What bullets would y'all run for hunting
Both rifles suppressed
Ar-10 is 16 in
338 lm is 20 in

Would you stick with hornady or switch to bergers or smk

For hunting with HP bullets I like Serria Game Kings

250 grain Elite Hunter (HP design) Berger for the 338 with a 20" barrel.
308- tons of options. Berger 168 Classic Hunter would be good.
If you are chambering the same round over and over, the tips will get beat up. Just like my self defense HP handgun ammo, I will rotate which round is on top, to keep it from getting scratched up or deformed.
