First episode was last week and the whole episode was around Beaumont and other parts of East TX and was pretty boring. Hope it gets better as this season goes.

I was on it supposedly.

Btw.....a trout WILL shrink at least a 1/2" when put in a yeti cooler filled with ice

I really wish they'd start showing something besides south Texas and some piney woods.

Speaking of Game Wardens...is anyone here old enough to remember 'Grover Simpson' (worked Travis and Williamson Counties for about 35 years)?

What a great guy. They don't make GW's like him any more.

A recent thread about the Burnham Brothers got me to thinking about (and re-living) some of the folks I was privileged to know and spend some time with.

Pretty much a legend in the Austin area and Hill Country.

I like the show, but wished they did more South Texas and West Texas.

Nothing out there but scrub brush and pump jacks....all those city folks filming and producing the show don't want to be that far from civilization......

I watched a re run of it last night and enjoyed it. My wife and I are both looking forward to the new season. We especially like that they do a lot of it here in East Texas, where we live.

Too much emphasis on drugs and people from the cities and their problems for me.

So they could show them chasing tumble weeds?

I have to agree with BenBob on this one. What I would like to see is less drug and more dealing with wildlife.

Topics on here about game wardens get a lot of attention, so you would think coming up with interesting story lines would not be a problem. Show could also be used to educate the public about game laws, etc.

they do they show a lot of Mexican illegal fishing in the Rio Grande and they have had some on west Texas as well one I remember was a warden found a car just parked out on a dirt section road that belonged to a girl that was suppose to be at prom

it turns out the dad got a hold of her and she was perfectly fine and with her prom date and friends, but there was no explanation for why her and her friends decided to just park her car in the middle of nothing to all jump in one car

I have the same feeling concerning the comments that have been posted. To make it interesting, they need to get into some counties that have wildlife and drop the city stuff. When it comes to the latter, just the run of the mill COPS is no contest for this newcomer. LSL was so boring; I figured it was canceled.

A good example of an entertaining Game Warden centered show is North Woods Law that is filmed in Maine, now that show is interesting.

The last episode I saw was about a guy riding around in a neighborhood and shot a dove out of season with a shotgun from his vehicle.

I like seeing the rescues and the episodes where they are riding around on the lakes and rivers. The city stuff gets kinda boring.
