Ha! One of few folks I know that knows that trick. I bet we have crossed paths, or have some of the same folk in our history...I must leave it there though...best of luck! More than likely outlaws for sure Thanks. No sign she's been back as of yesterday. With this cooler weather, I'm sure she is traveling a little farther now and will take some time getting back by me.

Caught a javalina and the cat came by and ate it out of the trap. Reset and the wait starts over.

Did you ever catch the cat? Shortly after my last post, the land owner contacted me saying Majesty Outdoors was wanting to film a lion hunt. So I pulled all my lion traps and put them on some great spots but came up empty. I'm just now getting all my traps set back again. I'll share what I get.

Got them both. Only found the cub. Brought the dogs in to look for the sow, they kept hitting on a deep draw we couldn't find a way down into before we ran out of day light. Will keep looking for her.

Found the other one... Surprised me, it's another cub. That means momma is still out there somewhere.

Rumored that one of our neighbors in Mills county got one on a game camera recently. We've never had any problems with them. I think in our area I'd just watch him pass by and have a really cool memory.

Don't know if I am excited by this bit of news, but like you, think I would have to watch it pass.

The soft mud is throwing everybody off. Keep us posted DesertHunter with updates. Hopefully you get her Yes sir. Thanks. Checked the traps today and she has not been back by yet. About 15 more days maybe. Had to dig up this post to see if you had any luck. Glad I did! Good work DH
