Does anybody know where I can get some black powder in the DFW area? Looking for Swiss or Goex brands. I'd like to find something locally so I don't have to pay hazmat fees.

Well, I can't say for sure they have black powder, but it's the first place I'd look: Southwest Ammo Supply, 206 W Davis St, Mesquite

as far as i know, southwest has never had black because of being in town and insurance, etc. i don't know about ray's the only place i know of was gibson's gun range, but i've not bought any since frank has been gone. i'm told bass amateur shop has it. i have no idea what it would cost now. graf's gets $18.00 . the last i bought was from an individual when they were selling all their b.p. hunting gear. the folks here that sell smokeless should be able to order some for you when they do their smokeless order

I bought some years ago and a group of black powder shooter in the gun club. If there is enough interest we could split the hazmat fees.

Yeah I'd be up for that. I work in Grand Prairie so I would be centrally located for everybody. I'll buy 2 pounds to get the ball rolling.
