Is there a dealer here in the USA that sells this Quick Detach mount. Website says Sellmark, but as far as I know they will not sell to the public?

What's so unique about it vs say a LaRue?

Does Larue make one for an Apex? If they do could you post a link?

The pulsar is a direct replacement and has the wedge type base that matches the base on the scope.

Which part? Did you buy the adapter and a Mount?

Its a qd mount that includes everything you need for the Apex. I have taken it off my rifle numerous times and still holds a zero

I ordered the mount from the UK today. Once I receive it I will report back.

I had to send my setup back to UNV. For whatever reason (they are investigating) mine stopped being repeatable. From rifle to rifle or just off and back on it was no longer trustworthy.
Hopefully we get it figured out because when it worked it was priceless.

Man that is frustrating. I had that happen and didn't know who to blame; mount, scope, barrel a little of all them.

Agreed, it tough. I switched it between rifles and it was off the same amount on both using 2 different profiles. I tried to narrow it down as much as I could before I called them.

It has arrived. I'll pick it up at the office later today. I'll try to review it tonight or tomorrow.

You know I didn't ask, do you think it is the mount or the scope at fault?

Since I was able to switch it between guns and have it be off the same amount, and then put the stock mount on and run it on one of the guns for the last month with no issues......I narrowed it down to the mount.

The Pulsar QD112 Quick Detach mount looks to be well machined with clean edges. It fit perfectly with the exception of the eyepiece housing intrudes a little into the path of the mounting track. I was able to remove the excess material with a razor sharp wood chisel. I tested it with a bore sight and it goes off and back on reliably as best as I can tell at 20 yards. I'll take it to the range tomorrow and test it at 80 yards. I took pics but photobucket is sucking air right now!

I went to the range and test the re-acquisition of the zero upon removal and re-installation with good results. Cycled twice removing and resetting the scope and the poi moved maybe a 1/4" @ 50yards. All and all I think it is a good value at $120.

Finally, got the pics loaded

They tighten by turning clockwise and has a distinctive click when it reaches the appropriate place when the puch-button lock engages.

I'm thinking this is going to be the standard going forward if I remember correctly. So if you buy new just wait maybe?
