Looking for books on tracking. Both blood trailing and looking at tracks and aging them and things like that. Any suggestions? Just looking to increase my knowledge and its always fun to learn more

I found both of these books to be very interesting:

Tom Brown - Science and Art of Tracking

and

Paul Resendes - Tracking and the Art of Seeing

The Tom Brown books are OK. I'm just not sure I trust the guy. I used to be very interested in him, but the more I learn about him the more I think he is full of beans. But there's some good stuff in the books on tracking, survival, and wild food....just take it with a grain of salt. I think his method of trying to determine which way the animal was looking by the depth of the track is bogus.

Looking more toward animals not people, thanks though!

John Jeanneney wrote a book Tracking Dogs for Finding Deer that's pretty good
