I want to see if maybe my gun just doesnt shoot 100gr well, but dont want to buy a whole box to see. Will definitely pay you for them and shipping, just dont want to buy a whole box to test.

I guess anything in that range...give or take 10grains.

thanks

Are you looking for hunting bullets, or target bullets? I might have some soft point bullets, and/or hollow point bullets in that weight range. I have a box of over 5,000 .243 bullets that I bought from another hand-loader when he was getting out of it. I had to go through and sort them by weight, and bullet type, into individual bags. I have more than I would ever be able to shoot in a lifetime even if it was the only caliber I was shooting-which it's not.

I can check tomorrow for that specific weight. I will PM you tomorrow with quantities, and type, of bullets that I have.

A hog is nothing more than a bullet receptacle.

Matt, I'll see what I have in my stash tomorrow and if I have any, I'll be glad to donate a hand full of them for your testing.

really anything. All I have is 100gr and I think thats right on the edge of what my gun can stabilize. I want to know if my gun isnt shooting well (its a handi rifle), or if I am just trying to shoot too heavy of a projectile.

So anything 75-85gr or so.

Try some 87 grain Vmax with Varget. I've yet to see one that won't shoot 38.0 grains. BUT work up to it because it is well above published max.

My handi in 22-250 rifle would not shoot worth a crap,,, poor barrels,,,, about 2 " groups at 100..... sold it quick !

Matt, where are you located? I have some Hornady 87gr soft points I will share.

When I first got my new .243, it would not shoot 100gr bullets well. I dropped back to 87's and it did fine. After a while, I tried the 100's again and they shot well. (barrel break-in? holding my mouth right? smiled upon by the reloading gods?)

Having a hard time with this 243, but my handi 22-250 will stack shots on top of each other from 100yds

Those are known to be hit or miss. Mostly miss. Pie plate accuracy is common from all the friends I know who have had them. What bullet and powder have you been using? What is the twist on those barrels?

I was using 32-33gr Varget under the 100gr spitzer bullet I believe.

Matt, I just got back into town and checked my supplies:

I've got 70 and 85 grain Sierras and 70 and 85 grain Noslers.

Let me know which ones you want to try and how many you need. PM a mailing address and I'll get them in the mail to you tomorrow.
