I have mixed feelings about this. Hogs are a problem and are devastating to crops and farmland, but I worry about the side-effects of this on other game animals and hunters who potentially might eat meat from a hog that has been poisoned and not died yet.

Curious to see what everyone else thinks.

If warfarin is what they've approved, if it's the same thing I took, that's a blood thinner for blood clots.

Hope all the hogs stay on my place. I have no problem with them. Like hunting them.

Hope they have a way of making sure only hogs can get to it. One of my dogs got into rat poison (warfarin/Coumadin) in October and it cost me over 3K to get her right.

How much did the dog eat? It takes a pretty wad to have any effect..and warfarin is considered a multi feed bait.

#1 "Hey I've got an idea, let's go catch some hogs and turn 'em loose on our place so we can charge an arm & leg to hunt 'em......the neighbors won't mind." "Here hold my beer while I look up the price of a hog trap!"

#2 "Heck yeah...and while you're at it check on the cost aviation fuel, maybe we can use my Helicopter and charge even more for the hunt.....the neighbors won't mind."

#1 "What an idea, what could go wrong with this plan?"
