I have the VLD Hunting but which one is the most popular for long range match shooting?

I used the 130 and 140 VLD and the OTM, they all shoot great in my Creedmoor with 30 inch barrel that I sold. The Target and Hunt VLD shoot the same. I am waiting for the new 6.5 Creedmoor Crusader from GA Precision with 26 inch barrel. Will use the same bullets.

Whichever one shoots the best...
Seriously, the BC's are good enough on all the 6.5 Bergers in the 130-140 gr weight to do anything you need to do with a 6.5 CM. I prefer 140's, but if you want a little more speed, go 130. The VLD's typically tend to be more sensitive to seating depth than the hybrids, but I haven't had any issues in a standard magazine length of 2.800". YMMV.

First 250 rounds down the new barrel were with 140 Hybrids, which are less seating depth sensitive than VLDs. Now I'm loaded with Hornady 140 ELD-M. Less money, and a higher BC than the Berger Hybrid.

How did the Hybrids shoot, so far I I've shot the ELDM and the new Nosler RDF, both seem equally accurate but this is only at 100 yards.

I never used the ELD M or the ELD X in the 6.5 Creed, but they both shoots lights out with my 308 Crusader. Load datas for the 178 ELD_M and X's are written in stone. I will try the ELD's once I get the new Creed.

Lapua 136 is another good one as is the 130 hybrid.

I'd be shocked if they were as consistent bullet to bullet though...elevation doesn't mean a thing to you or me...wind and consistency is everything snipersnowflake

That was a term someone used on the Hunter Challenge thread and JG said it hit a nerve with him. You know me...I'll never use something like that to screw with a buddy. You know something like those Hornady Ballistic tips I'm kinda surprised JG ain't using those

Looks to me like it's more likely the ELDs are more consistent with the polymer tip than the fine hollow point of the Berger. Elevation I mentioned was just an illustration of the increase in BC from the Berger Hybrid. I couldn't care less what elevation corrections are for one bullet or another.
