Where is some good Italian food. Took the wife to Buca Di Beppo today on Park Lane and it was not good.

Had the Chicken Marsala with Fettuccine Alfredo. The chicken had very little taste with a sweet translucent type honey sauce, the Fettuccine would have made Alfredo go into hiding

Wide had Lasagna which was just okay.

So where is the real deal on summa Mamas type Italian dining

I don't know where "Over Here" is so distance may be a factor
but the best Italian food I know of is Mio Nonno on north side
of Allen. Stacy Rd just west of 75. Wonderful food.

Brio in Allen was always very good when we frequented that area. It has been a 2-3 years since we have been down there though.

I ate at Prontos in Bridgeport a couple of times for lunch, it was good and very affordable.

Sicilliano's a taste of Italy in Garland. Basically across from N Garland H.S., go on a Friday night, thats the only day they have the Broccoli cheese soup, awesome stuff and their rolls are the bomb. Best Lasagna I've ever eaten. Nice place, never had a bad meal there. Only thing I miss about Garland.

You travel to Rome or Sienna in Italy away from the tourist traps, and you had no idea "authentic" italian cuisine tasted soo different, fresher and way more refined

A definite yes, go there at least once a month. Wednesday is the lasagna special, I believe it is 8 dollars on that night.
