Part I Discussion is here. http://texashuntingforum.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/6640155/1Well members, it seemed hokey from the start and by golly is was a full blown Charlie Foxtrot. The two guides involved in the shooting have been indicted are being charged one charge each of using deadly conduct by discharging firearms in the direction of others, a 3rd Degree Felony. There were no mysterious Mexican raiders surrounding the campers and who were there to steal a camper and then kill them all, and who magically vanished back across the border (how would they even have this information????) as was claimed. Shooting your own client is BAD for business. Having one guide shoot another, also bad for business. http://www.cbs7.com/content/news/Hunting...-413885063.html

It would be funny if it weren't so sad.
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

That is even more confusing. Were they really drunk, did something scare them? What started the whole incident in the first place?

Moron's on so many levels. Shoot each other and then try to cover it up with that story? So I'm thinking we should go ahead and flag Circle Dug Ranch as sketchy in the Outfitters section.

If it hadn't been for good LEO's they would have gotten away with their lie too. The idiots who think the wets are a national plague were all over this. Gulping that lie down like free cold beer.

Probably more interesting than the cross border raider story concocted, I wonder what really happened. When the 1st guide shoots a client and the 2nd guide shoots the first guide in a non-hunting incident, you know there has to be a heck of a story there.

So, what happens to the client who I assumed also lied about the initial story?
I mean it isn't like that would be a good time to swing a deal for lifetime hunts on the Circle Dug Ranch...
So is he now going to be charged after being shot - that's a kick in the Nads!
This space is For Sale - inquire within ...

No, but I suspect he could be charged with filing a false report with the cops, if it comes to that.

Maybe so, but apparently plenty being committed by legals. Of course. There's 300,000,000+ legal folks in this country. some commit crimes. IF Illegals commit just 5-10% of the crime, that's 5-10% we can do without. Itd be a lot bigger deal if you or your family were a victim of an illegals crime. http://www.dailywire.com/news/10155/9-things-you-need-know-about-illegal-immigration-aaron-bandler#!

Yeah maximus, this really isn't an issue about illegals. This is an issue about people blaming illegals for a crime not committed by illegals, but by the accusers. Illegals may be a problem (for which you are welcome to start an appropriate thread about), but they were not this problem and have nothing to do with this problem except for being used as a scapegoat, which is part of what made the original story so hokey in the first place, the proclaimed knowledge of the so-called victims that they were attacked by border raiders who then escaped back to Mexico...which is pretty amazing given they they didn't see where the attackers came from, check passports, or follow the alleged attackers back to the border. It was just one aspect of the story that was hokey, but hokey it was.
