Says it is from 2013. I've never heard anything about it. My dog has been on Trifexis since 2014 with no ill effects. He just had blood work done before surgery and the vet said the results were "beautiful."
Thank you for passing along. I will aks my vet about it next time we go in.
I just turned it on . I was looking bird dogs in the butt this morning.

Thank you for passing along. I will aks my vet about it next time we go in. It got all stirred up on the internet in 2013 and more or less went away because there is really no truth to it. Spinosad (flea control in Trifexis - also sold just as Comfortis) makes some dogs vomit. One of my labs being one of them. It needs to be given with food and that fixes 95% of the vomiting issues...didn't make a difference for our lab though. Like humans and human drugs - some dogs just react differently to certain things. We use a Bravecto / Heartguard combo - I don't want to go as far as saying it's "safer" - but it is - it can be given to pregnant and lactating dogs whereas I don't think Trifexis can be safely. Bravecto can also be started at like 8 weeks of age and I think Trifexis is around 14-16 weeks. Bravecto will also kill ticks - Trifexis (comfortis) doesn't. If Trifexis works for you and you aren't having any problems - there is no need to switch anything as this article doesn't have much validity.

I have one that can't take Trifexis. It only made him sick once, but it makes him tired, and moody for a few days after taking it. The other dogs haven't had a problem with it.
Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden. Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

It affect some dogs and not others All those type of meds do. Some dogs die and some don't. Not taking any chances. Again thanks for posting
