A friend gave me a knife he started building some time ago. He has since passed and I would like to get his knife finished. I consider myself pretty handy, but I have never made a knife. My buddy was really not a knifemaker either but what he started looks fantastic. So looking for someone fairly close that can finish it out. The blade is pretty much complete, but I think it needs a few finishing touches. He has some roughed steel handles on it but they may be too heavy. He also had a couple of pieces of Walnut for some scales.
Any suggestions or comments would be welcome.
