I have several mallards and a few wood ducks in the freezer for 2 years now. Are they still mountable?

Thanks

Depends on how they are wrapped and what type of freezer you have. Frost free freezers are harder on the birds then ones with frost. If they are wrapped good in plastic freezer bag they can last a long time. I have mounted a quail that was in the freezer for 10 years with good results.

If you are in the frisco area I would give Pat @ Avian Arts a call and see what he says. I would imagine they are still fine unless they were just tossed in and are ate up with freezer burn.
