Word of mouth. I thought I'd try this forum...you never know! Just keep looking I guess. I've just about exhausted all attempts. I've visited feed stores, the chamber of commerce in Meridian & Clifton, checked the newspapers, and talked to ranchers in the area. We've always wanted a place of our own so we're talking to several real estate agents in the area. We were gonna wait a few more years but since there is very little land to be leased anymore, we've decided to just invest in a place of our own.

I bought 105 acred in Bosque 7 years ago.... I always hear of a few for sale by owner throughout the year.. How much land and price range are you looking at..?? Leases dont come easy in Bosque....But go west toward Hamilton and land drops considerably as well as leases....

We're looking for 50-80 acres with water and electricity already run. I know some say available but then you find out that you have to run 10 poles out to the main road! Last time I checked it was $2k/pole! We have a budget set at $250k.
