A buddy moved from Tennesee to Texas and was wondering about transfering his CHL to here. He have to go through background check or what is involved?

You do not transfer your license, it goes from state to state. He will have to meet all the same requirements. He may want to check the agreements, he may be able to carry under his Tennessee license. If I were him I would still get the Texas License. He might want to wait a month or so and see if we go Constitutional carry.
Thank You Robert
