Just got one for Christmas and wondered about using it to call hogs. Anyone have any luck with it? Any suggestions?
Plan to use it mostly on bobcats and yotes. Covered up with both.

Plan to use it mostly on bobcats and yotes. Covered up with both. KennyLee, I've used the following FoxPro hog sounds: Begging Hogs, Feeding Frenzy 1, Feeding Hogs 2, Baby Pig Distress, Juvenile Pig Distress, Sow Protection,, and Lil Piggy. The Baby Pig and the Juvenile Pig Distress have been the most successful for me. I'd suggest that you try all of them you can get just to see what works in your particular area. For bobcats and 'yotes, rabbit distress calls have worked best for me. Keep the volume low and make sure you have the wind on your nose when you set up. Yotes will generally come running to a call; cats are generally much slower and deliberate in their approachs, so you gotta be patient with the bobcats.

Do a search on YouTube for calling hogs. Glenn Guess has a bunch on there that are very informative.

My buddy gave me a Fox Pro all set up with sounds. I am also going to try it out on hogs this winter. Hopefully it works in my area.

Dang! Now I have to add another 'toy' to my shopping list. One of these days, maybe after I spring for a thermal sight …

I've had mixed results. Boars have mostly ignored it and wouldn't move closer but has worked on larger groups with piglets.
