Successful first season with my 1 year old Flat Coated Retriever.
Never hunted with one so I went out on a limb when I got him at 6 months. So far so good, plenty of fine tuning to do in the offseason though but he's good.
Smaller so far than my yellow lab which is always a plus in a cramped boat.
Anyone else ever hunt with one?

Never got to hunt over one, but got to see a couple that my nephew was training.
Pretty dogs.
Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.
