Last week, it was hogs on a giant pile of pecans. This week, it is hogs on top of round bales... Dave had been telling me about this for a while, but I had yet to see it - hogs getting up on top of the round bales and decimating the bales. Finally got to see it for the first time last night. What is interesting is that not only were the hogs getting on the bales, but Dave had been out the previous two nights and shot hogs off of them. I didn't know if we would see anything or not, but sure enough, they did show up. However, we had to take care of a couple of other hogs first...

Would be fun to get some video of the bale
Eating process from start to finish. But then again, I wouldn't let hogs get that far, would be blasting them before they got finished.

LOL, Dave had been telling me about this and when we had hunted previously, shown me damaged bales, but I had not actually seen hog up on the hay. Pretty interesting.
Yeah, let me know how the hay bale attractant works!

Serious hog problem on that farm. Think of the $$$ lost in damages I figure that based on the dimensions, there were either 25 or 30 bales there, so definitely a few thousand in damage on the bales alone (assuming it is coastal Bermuda, which seems to be common around there).

Well, I was wrong. Just learned from the landowner that the round bales were of wheat, so that may explain why the hogs are so aggressively going after them.
