Just loaded some up with varget and VV-540, try to test next Saturday if this crazy Texas weather permits. Remington 700 5R, 20" , 1-8 twist.

Would love to hear your results Buzz. A good friend I hunt with could not get these bullets to shoot in his custom AR-15 with multiple powders tested and 3 barrels tried. Some groups were so bad we couldn't make sense of the target at 100 yards with all the random bullet holes.

I loaded these for my bolt gun first. 25.0 and 25.5 Varget. 2.34 OAL.

2.355 to lands

26.5 VV-540

we'll see. I will try some through my Seekins, 14.5" AR too. seated to 2.26

currently my go-to load is 24.0 Varget, Sierra 77gr MK and TMK

got some 140's too for my Creedmoor for testing.

24.0 of Varget and a 77 SMK just flat works. That is a well known load for the 600yd line in highpower competitions.

Jump them around 30thou with the same powder charge as 140 hybrid/amax and you'll be good. Use a .330 bc too
