We use a car cover when at the lease and expect rain or freezing precip. get some tarp clips and a couple bungees.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

I bought one at Bass Pro in 2013 for fairly cheap, it is still kicking. Has vents and a good draw string. Doesn't stay out year round, but usually Sep thru Feb or so while the buggy is up at the lease.

I have had decent results and longevity from Classic/ Cabelas for my ATVs and am using the custom fit Honda Pioneer 700-4 one for the UTV. It is black and after 8 months it's already fading.
