I'd love to video a few short vids for my dad who can't get out to hunt any longer. Found this and it seems ok, but you have to start buying different clamps for round/square/1"/3/4" gets costly quickly and we have all shapes and sizes on climbers/stands.

I'm hoping there are some inventive folks here who have some DIY ideas on this. Definitely not interested in the iPhone thing that clamps over the eyepiece of the scope. We have really big Millenium doubles so lots of rail room to clamp the iPhone.

How good is your iPhone camera? Mine's a little older but it sucks. I'm personally looking for a cheap-to-moderately priced dedicated video camera for shooting outdoors. If I'm going to shoot video, I at least want it to be decent. Most of my spots have 200-400 yards FOV so I need something better than an Iphone.
