Well I was reunited with my old Mathews LX bow and set up today when Fed Ex delivered it. I was actually amazed at how good it looks after all these years. I guess it sat in the back room at the Kittery Trading Post where I traded it in over a decade ago. Then a guy bought it and was selling it on eBay to make a couple of bucks. He is right handed and it's a left handed bow so he said that he never even shot it. I can believe that because it still has my peep sight, kisser button and sight tape on the HHA Optimizer Lite sight. I am headed out to The Bow Zone in the morning to order a new set of cables and a string for it. I also need an E clip at the bottom of one of the limbs and a new set of string dampeners. Other than that stuff, it is in mint condition. I still have the Beman ICS Hunters that I was shooting out of it before I traded it in. So now I just have to wait for them to get the cables and string in for me and I will get it out to the club to shoot it. I am pretty happy to have it back and it's just crazy that I found it up for sale on eBay 11-12 years later.

The patch on the rug is where I had a piece of duct tape for a distance marker to help range in my C/T laser sights on my handguns. Gotta go over that with the rug cleaner at some point lol.

Yeah I am stoked. I got the cables, string and string dampeners replaced today and picked up a 1/2 dozen Beman ICS Hunter Classic 400 arrows with the blazer vanes on them. The release should get delivered Friday so I can start paper tuning it and get it out to the range this weekend.

Thanks. Yeah it's been 1 1/2 years since I went there last. The new shop looks awesome and the interactive shooting game is cool. They hooked me up too since I bought my Mission MXB-360 crossbow from them. I will be getting out to the archery club this weekend to paper shoot it and tune it up so I can go walk the courses.

Yeah it's so darn easy to draw the LX. I thought I would have a problem at first but after all the years of shooting my recurve's, it has made it really easy to draw 60 pounds. They don't sell the original HHA sight tapes anymore that had the 1 yard increments and now sell them in 5 yard increments only so I am going to scan the tape I have in to the computer and stretch it out. Copy and paste a bunch of them in different lengths so I can find which one will work with the new arrows. I picked up 1/2 dozen Beman ICS Hunter Classic 400 arrows that I am going to try out. They have the 2" blazer vanes on them too. I used to shoot 4" vanes and 500's out of it so hopefully it's not over spined.
