I clearly need a little more practice at free hand shooting at 120-140 yards on running hogs.... But was still a fun night!

One suggestion would be to carry some shooting sticks or a bipod, typically have those with me anytime I am out with a gun.
Second thing is learn to shoot from a kneeling or seated position, you can use your knees as a rest and make a much better shot.

I know I have opportunities. I also went to sight in my rifle and I was 3 inches high for some reason. That also contributed to the high schots.

I went hunting with my daughter earlier this year and after neither of us could hit anything I noticed the focus ring on the thermal was way too loose, and the front lens was moving which in turn made the reticle and all move...not conducive to hunting hogs. She is usually a good shot, better than I am, so I couldn't' understand why she wasn't hitting anything. Good news is it got fixed under warranty and it is back to being a hog killer....just gotta see some hogs now. Keep it up JT, hard work doesn't go without its rewards!

I have two unwritten rules: 1. 2.

Kinda looked/sounded like a commercial....
That being said, stay with it Man! I consider myself pretty good now but me and EVERYONE ELSE here started somewhere.
Sounds like you are having fun, learning from your mistakes and not afraid to admit it, willing to learn and doing it safely. I'd hunt with ya!

Nice video bud. Keep practicing but keep knocking them down. Way to represent H-Town!
A real hunter never returns empty handed. Spending time in the wilderness temporarily satifies the soul, but leaves us longing for more.
