I have a problem with this happening in 2 of my arrows. They are beeman ics hunter's and are less than a year old, been shot maybe 50 times a piece at a block.

Have I done somethin to cause this or is it normal?

If it's the insert where field tip goes I just use super glue gel! Use it on fletchings also and never had issue. Have had to alter arrow and just heated field point when installed with super glue and it pulled with no damage to arrow.

Brayden (Lazy L's Southern Comfort) you will be missed! You were more than a pet you were my reason to rise and return for many days! You were my rock!

If you are shooting in to wet targets in cold temperatures then they can end up freezing inside the target and when you try to pull them out, they end up pulling on your inserts. I used to have this happen sometimes with Beman ICS Hunters when the temperatures dropped while out on the course in MA. They used those compressed targets with the wood housings and threaded rods on the sides that compress the carpet material together. I would have this problem when using glues like fletch-tite and Duco cement. Once I switched over to using the fast drying glue they seemed to hold when pulling them out of the targets. I honestly never had that problem with any of the other arrow brands and only with the Beman shafts for some reason.
