Watching the local news last night. The ScrewWorm is making a come back in Texas . Can anyone verify this info?

I'm not sure. I do know that there are a lot of nasty worms still out there that could be mistaken for screw worms.

was first found in deer in Florida, had not heard of it spreading elsewhere

I remember when they were eradicated in TX <OK in the 60's. up until then every thing that had a break in the skin had at least 90% chance of getting screw worms, if it was watched very close.

I can remember sterile flies being dumped in little cardboard boxes from airplanes.
