For the 2017 season we will be offering an archery only whitetail DIY Hunt on our Stonewall county ranch.

Location: Stonewall County
Acres: 6,000
Weapon: Bow or crossbow
Lodging: Basecamp Included (Wall Tents on Platforms with Stoves)
Meals: Bring your own (more than welcome to use our cooking equipment)
Terrain: Canyons and River Beds
Harvest Quota: 1 mature buck, 1 doe, hogs
Price: $300/day No additional fees

This is a beautiful property that has produced some outstanding whitetail deer. If you are a good archer looking at a chance at a true free range giant, this is your hunt.

This is not a pampered hunt. These hunts are conducted similar to drop camp elk hunts. You will be given a hunting area and topo map. The rest is up to you.

The property consistently harvests free range whitetail over 150" and last year we had a 171" killed.

If you truly want to test your skills for a more than fair price, give us a call today to reserve your dates for next season and begin planning your hunt. Spots are already filling up and we can take up to 10 hunters at a time.

Book at least 7 guys and be the only group in camp.

Deposits are 30% and can be made by check or credit card. Dates remain open until deposit is received. Once received you will get a confirmation and info packet about your hunt. You will also be added to the monthly email list to keep you updated on trail cam photos as well as ranch progress throughout the year.

For more info call or text 254-640-7894

Dont have an exact numerical answer for ya there so this is the best I can do. Refuse to hunt more than 10 archers at a time, will schedule off times to keep pressure down, will stick to quality management numbers, will attempt to keep it booked enough to make it a profitable venture for the landowner and myself.

I know it's long winded and pretty PC but that's the best answer I can give you for that question.

Is this all spot and stalk? Or since this is DIY can the hunter bring climbing stand, popups and such?

Stands are more than welcome to be set up. We even have a few that you are welcome to use if needed.
