I am wanting to get a dehydrator for making jerky and other things but I am looking for recommendations on which one to get. Not looking to spend a tone of money as I don't need a top of the line dehydrator but something that has decent capacity and quality. Currently I smoke the meat fist then use the oven, set at 170f to make jerky but it's far from efficient.

this one is sweet. small enough to not take up room when using or storing but it makes a load of jerky. It has adjustable temp settings and a good fan. I bought one when it was on sale during black friday for 69 but even at full price its worth it. On sale for 99 right now. Worth every penny!

I have this one and really like it. You can buy more racks separately to expand the capacity.

We have this one and like it. I have been able to put 5 lbs of raw meat on it per run.

Thanks for all of the suggestions! I was talking to my sister and BIL about them and out he walks with his Excalibur 2500 and says, "here you go, its yours now". banana
