So after looking on the Kreso web site I noticed this line:
"Use on animals which are not producing food for human consumption only. "
Now if this is being used as a hog attractant you aren't spraying it on an animal or bathing the animal like the instructions call for.
But I wonder if the hog is getting enough of the Kreso on them to be a concern if you are planning on eating the hogs? Can’t be any worse than used motor oil which is what people use to use Well after looking at the MSDS sheet on Kreso and it's ingredients, I'm not so sure about that. It's pretty toxic and carcinogenic. I'm just not sure how much (if any) the hogs actually get into their blood stream by rubbing on a tree. Probably not as bad as mixing diesel fuel in your corn as many do. I wonder if I could get a few hundred thousand for a research study to shoot some hogs, check their blood levels, the put some Kreso D on trees, let hogs rub them, then shoot some more hogs, check blood levels and publish my results?

He still marks the tree by biting it every time With the small amount sprayed onto the tree do not think it could get into blood

There could be the potential for small amounts to get into the blood, but I highly doubt it would be discernible over chemical background noise from everything else he has eaten, telephone poles rubbed and bitten, etc.
