I normally make 2-3 lbs, and use both diced tomatoes and tomato sauce, and kidney and pinto beans.

1 pound lean ground beef or venison
1 package McCormick® Chili Seasoning Mix, Original

1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
OR
1 can of tomato sauce

Optional 1 can (15 to 16 ounces) kidney beans, undrained

So how do you cook it? Crock-Pot, stove?

I like to add a can of Rotel to the mix.
I put tomatoes and beans in a pot on stove with half packet of seasoning heating up, garlic and chopped onions in skillet until glazed, mix in meat with other half seasoning, when brown mix in pot with other stuff.
This one pound meat.
