Does anyone have some old faded mallard decoys they are willing to sell cheap? I just finished painting a batch of canvasback decoys and I'd like to add another dozen or so for a big water hunt next week. Some big ugly flambeaus or economy mallards are perfect, just as long as they float and don't leak. I'm located in Flower Mound but don't mind driving a few minutes out of the way. Thanks

Dicks Sporting Goods Hard Core Mallards

Probably couldn't get used much cheaper than that. Free shipping too.

I repaint some of my deeks too. I've always let the paint cure for at least a month before I deploy them in my spread. What type of paint do you use? I'd love to take that month curing time out of the process!

Streater, I normally paint decoys in the off season and let them cure for a long time too, but I don't have time for that this go around. If you prep the dekes really well and use Krylon plastic fusion as a primer you could probably hunt with them after 72 hours.

And thanks for the leads on the cheap decoys, I'll be ordering some if Wally World doesn't come through
