Anyone have experience hunting coyotes or bobcats in a popup blind? I've read a few posts on hunting forums that offer mixed advice. Some say it's better to conceal yourself in heavy brush or cover, and others have had success in ground or popup blinds.

I'm anxious to try out my new Barronet Big Cat popup blind and my buddy has a foxpro call. Thinking about getting back out the lease soon and hunt for predators.

Absolutely no need for a pop up blind to predator hunt. Not saying it won't work but it's not needed. If your going to make multiple sets you don't want to be spending time putting up and taking down a pop up plus making the noise it will make.

I'd rather be able to see 360 deg and that's not gonna happen in a pop up so you are limiting yourself

The only time I use one is its already setup on the property that I'm hunting. I move around too much to mess with a blind and setting one up would also cause too much movement and noise for me. You might try one of the netting blinds that you sit behind if just wanting a little more concealment.

Like they said, I don't spend enough time on a set to put up a blind, just back up in a bush on your butt and your ready.
