Can't say enough great things about the operation that Capt moe Neal and jeff wasley at aleutian eider outfitters have built over the last 8 years.

Kings over the decoys so close that 410s got it done.

Weather got right today. Done.

Do they fly similar to other sea ducks? As in do they fly right up the decoy line to the awaiting hunters?

I'm planning on going to Alaska in 2018. Is there anyway to combine a hunt and take king eiders, oldsquaw, harlequins; and then also hunt inshore for puddlers?

Really want the three mentioned before and a Eurasian Widgeon. I understand it will be difficult to guarantee a Eurasian. I see their website says October for puddlers, Nov-Dec for sea ducks. Are all the puddlers gone by November-December?

Going to contact these guys, but I know you have gone pretty much every year.

Not like scoters do. We did a lot of flagging to get their attention and then most were shot passing over the decoys at 35-40 yards.

Hey dutchie,
Till when are the hunts banned in holland due to 'birdflu'?
Does that include geese (farmer claims)?

The glorious gumbo! That was a piece of art last month sir.

@beaver: no more closings here unless you are in a 10km zone from an infected area.
As far as I know that is zero at the moment.
