Yessir. I still have some load development to do, but I should have it narrowed down before the match. The Grendel will be well-represented this year. I know of at least 2 other guys that will be shooting 6.5 Gs.

Nice!! I'm gonna use mine too. Gonna run it this year no suppressor dang thing is just too heavy for competition shooting off hand.

If y'all haven't checked out the new Vortex Razor LH, it's an unbelievable scope for the money. It absolutely smokes my Nightforce SHV.

It's comparable to the PRS, but lighter. I was trying to scrap ounces on this rifle. If I went with a skeleton stock and slim barrel, it would be around 7 lbs with scope.

Nice rifle! If you don't mind me asking, how much $ do you have in the full setup?

Are you dialing with that scope?

I traded for a bunch of the parts. I'm gonna guess I have around $1000 out of my pocket in the whole rig.

Yes, but I won't have to dial much at 300 yards. The reticle has 18 MOA of holdover, so I really don't need to dial at all. But I'm a twister.

An $800 scope is an expensive rig to me. Mine is $250.

Nice rig. I don't know much about the 6.5 grendel. Guess I'll google it to get some info. Lots of talk on the THF about it. But for a lightweight and long range rig, this sounds like an awesome setup.

It's not cheap for me either, but the guys I'm comparing my equipment to are shooting custom rifles with Gen 2 Razors and Premier Heritage. It's not expensive in the grand scheme of the sport. But it's still expensive. But not as expensive as bass fishing or women.

I can attest to that!

Yeah I was out at the local range with a guy the other day and he let me check out his gen $2500 Razor next my fixed-power $250 SWFA. We were both hitting steel at the same rate though. My Tikka 223 is no slouch at reasonable ranges. Ain't gonna reach out to 1,000 though.

You'd be surprised brother man. One of my shooting buddies is a PRS pro and he regularly smokes 1100 yard targets with his .223 trainer. I seent it.
