We finally took some time for ourselves to do a little hunting over the holidays. We decided to raid our Oklahoma property for the trip. Myself, my dad, BBD84, and a couple other buddies had a blast. I hung a new set after dark at a spot a few great bucks had been frequenting. With a cold front hitting I had a feeling they'd make their way through at some point to check the local doe herd out. The next morning was uneventful, but that afternoon after a few hours of watching my target buck move in and out trailing does and fighting the strong winds he finally made the grave mistake of coming into bow range. The carbon express tipped with my Rage 2 blade extremes met it's mark, and my buck was on the ground. My dad got to watch the events unfold from the comfort of a box blind, and we were able to get it all on film.
The following morning i took to the stand with a buddy of mine in hopes that a giant 300 class buck show. Late that morning he did in fact show, and the .50 cal muzzleloader hammered him. We spent the next day and a half trying to locate yet another giant for BBD84. Finally on one of the last mornings he connected with his cross bow. It was a weekend I will never forget with two bucks over 300" being taken and my little 200 class. I hope that everyone's New Years celebrations were as great as ours. Thanks for reading!

Bear they're off HF property which disallows them for B&C registering purposes. Huge bucks nonetheless.
