It's my impression that you cant get a lease for $1500 a hunter any more. You might consider a cull hunt on some of these ranches that charge around $250 for a doe.

Rarely see anything for $1500/hunter on any of the lease search websites. However, from what I've heard they still exist. Just got a really beat the bushes for landowners who are still reasonable. But definitely improve your odds by spending more. It isn't fair but seems like its the way it is.
