Primary Arms has an AR15 for $388.

I wonder how low they are gonna get.

I don't remember where, but I saw 30 round GI mags for $3.99 earlier this week.

$388 AR15

I'd try to talk the wife into it, but I wouldn't like that rifle til I put a couple hundred bucks into changing everything. At that point, there isn't a point.

Primary Arms is in Pearland. Might be worth the drive if you're near Houston.

No forward assist, no dust cover - are they necessary?

Not needed for the average shooter.

Unless you like to throw your gun down in the dirt or sand every now and then when shooting.

I built a 223 7 years ago think I put 10 rounds out of it"! 6.8 way better carry! It is just kind of worthless.
Unless you just love to shoot paper a lot! But have to be careful on who you buy you 6.8 bolt
from they sticky and don't always rechamber!
But I wouldn't buy an ar with out a forward assist ever and dust cover ever hunt in the panhandle near red river? You will find out!

Nope, 243 isn't gonna fit that one...FWIW Theres nothing wrong with 223, 6.8 is great, but train loads of game has fallen to the lowly 223.

You have to go with an AR-10 if you want to shoot .243.

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.
