Does anyone know if you launch a boat or kayak from the bridge in LA grange how far down you have to go to hunt without the city limits? Seen ducks when fishing but haven't been told where the boundaries are?

I wonder how accurate googlemaps is with their boundaries they show of the city limit.

Do you have the number for the warden in that area? Probably your best bet.
I just turned it on . I was looking bird dogs in the butt this morning.

I have hunted in that very area with a guide. We didn't go far downstream. Lots of gadwall and wigeon.

Can someone post GPS coordinates? Maybe leave a few "Free Duck Hunts Here" signs on the highway so folks can find it easily?

Something else you might have to check is the city ordinances. They can construct ordinances that don't allow shooting up to X feet of the city limits.

Thanks, I'll just have to call the game warden and ask. I've asked several people and nobody ever seems to know

I have a place north of la grange on the river and we haven't seen the ducks the way we did 5 years ago. there are so many places the water is less than a foot and its impossible to navigate.
