The three other times I went without my lucky charm! Brought him along and it all came together perfectly!

I'm done with the G5 Havoc broadheads though. They work, but they are a pain. While tracking the blood trail I found the arrow without a broadhead. I thought the broadhead had unscrewed itself but the threaded part actually broke off inside the arrow. The broadhead was just poking out the other side, with no threaded stem. While elk hunting every time I pulled one from my quiver the blades weren't locked in. No Thanks.

Stick with the Montec G5 you just sharpen them and keep on using them.

Good times. I agree go with the Montec G5 instead. I've had no problems with those.

Always good time when the kids are along. Congrats.

I shot a sweet ten point in kansas on public land with a G5, ten yard shot clean pass through ZERO blood. Buck ran into about 500 acre section of CRP, gone forever. Arrow was solid blood!

Congrats! Fixed blade all the way for me too! The blades are always locked in, no expansion necessary. I like Montec G5 and Muzzy.

Thank you all for your comments. There's something so much more meaningful about hunting when you're doing it with your kids.
