I'm having a 22 dasher spun up right now. Throated to shoot 90's and I'm hoping I can get it to shoot like my 6 dashers/brx but push that 90 over 3100...if so, on paper it will drift less wind than the 6's using 105 hybrids. Obviously, I won't know until I get to play with it. My stock from McSwirly won't be here until May so I don't suspect I'll get to find out until late summer (at best).

It'll be shorter than that if it is for a ar15 platform. X2 or there wouldn't be any appeal

From a 22 inch barrel I run 75AMax at just under 3100 So it sounds like the 77 grainer at 3300 fps posted earlier in this thread is a little hype then? Keep in mind the 75 is longer than most 77 so it takes up powder space.

Think I will just stick with the 22-243 short action Remington that is in the safe. With the 1:8 barrel it doesn't get any accuracy with the 90VLDs until velocity is above 3200fps but sure is fun.

It looks interesting. Should start shipping inside of two weeks. If it has more energy than a 22-250 then it's not based on a 6.8 case. If the drawing I have seen are correct then it's 10-15% less than a 22-250. As I said I have been shooting an Improved 6.8 22 caliber in AR's for over 5 years and it ain't no 22-250 but it's better than the .223.... probably about half way between actually

That was my suspicion. I was just repeating what they told me. It's a totally new case due to the rebated rim. They said that due to the diameter it would need 6.8spc magazines, but could use a standard bcg.

The rebated rim does make it sound interesting and innovative and I am sure there is a niche for it.
