Shot a big hog Saturday afternoon with my 243. Hit him in the neck as he was facing me but angled slightly to my left at 60 yards, the bullet went in just to the right of the spine and followed the spine down a ways angling to the far side of the spine and then it entered the chest cavity where it centered a lung, went through the diaphram and the liver where it was lost in the stomach innards. Hog dropped, kicked a bit and was done. He weighed all of 300 pounds and had nice teeth. Considering the bone involved I was surprised at the penetration the little 85 grain Partition had in it. The hog was just under six feet long from nose to hindquarters. I have a couple pictures on my phone I could send them to someone who knows how to post pictures.
