I have used powder wind indicators my whole life hunting. Cirrus Wind Indicator and I wanted to try it out. I didn't think that $40 was all that bad. It's lasted me a while on one single charge.

Check out the review here: http://huntingproduct.guru/reviews/lets-talk-getting-serious-cirrus-wind-indicator/

Let me know what you think about it, please. Happy Hunting everyone!

Same here. Although I do admit I have gotten fooled a time or two.

Of course it is of little help if you are mobile, but if it is a usual stand I would use a 1" wide x 8" long strip of black plastic on a tree limb, top of the feeder, fence post, etc. We always use something similar when predator hunting.

My wife and I use our ECig, My PH in Africa used his Ecig while we were there and they work great you see any kind of wind movement. I see no reason why that would not work.

Hang orange surveyors ribbon on various tree limbs in the hunting area.
Doesn't take much to make those move and indicate wind direction.
And it's cheap!!

I even have 5 or 6 hanging at my range.

I use a feather on a piece of dental floss tied to a tree limb. It will give a good show if a bobcat or coyote is near. They can't resist playing with it!
