Have about $150 in academy gift cards. Looking for a good light to put on my scope for a decent price. I am usually by myself hunting for critters at night so spot lights give me trouble when it's time to pull the trigger. Any advice on a good light for a scope would be appreciated. Thanks.
Academy has 2 versions of Cyclops varminter light, both were recently on sale. The expensive one has green and red LED element, an extra batt and a plastic case. The bubble-wrapped one has green and white instead, and a single cell charger, but the rest of the accessories are the same. Unless you really like the red (I don't), the cheaper one is the better deal.

I don't know if academy sells them, but I love my Elusive Wildlife XLR250 in green. Just saw them online new for $139, with 2 rechargeable batteries, charger, mousetail remote switch, rail mount as well as scope mount.
