I saw one at Cabelas in Buda. Small and good lookin unit. Worked pretty good looking across the store.

Resolution is 240x204...wondering how good the picture is with that resolution, but only $699.

Yeah, don't expect to be able to discern between a pig and a deer at 100 plus yards easily is my quess.

It's $699 not $3,000...

For spotting, I'd take a lower resolution Thermal over a higher quality NV device any day. Assuming you're not standing in the middle of a wide open field... The Thermal will allow you to see something is there vs not even seeing it with the NV. You're looking for something to target with your scope, you're not looking to shoot with it.

I returned mine. Not worth the price. Hard to identify stuff beyond 100 yards.

Thanks

Thermal isn't about identification. We're you able to spot heat beyond 100?
