Anyone have these boots? How do you like them? I see they are similar in price to Chips, but I have a connection to get a new pair of Ariat's for way less than retail. Thanks http://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product...er?cm_vc=-10005

I saw this post last week and checked out the boots. Ariat square toe cowboy boots are what I wear about everyday, have 2 pair and really like them so when I saw their making a snake boot I had to check them out and I ordered a pair. I've had bad luck with snake boots fitting me, been through 3 pair in the past 2 years. I like these, their like the Workhogs on the bottom. If you like Ariat you'll like these.
I got the pair with the camo upper, the tan upper boots are a little different style of boot on the bottom half.

Did you buy them in a store? I have only found them online. Thanks for the feedback.

Hey, Stompy! Guess it should not be a surprise to run across you here as well as BBC.
How do these boots fit? I wear Ariat Workhog square toes every day, as they are one of the few brands that fit my weird feet (wide with tall instep). Just wondering if the fit is similar.

I love Ariat boots, but I simply cannot do theirs or Justin's snake boots with the "V" cutaway at front and rear top of the boots. Gives up too much real estate for a possible strike, IMHO. I even bought the Justin's last year and took them back the next day and got Chips after I saw how much area of my leg isn't protected. Just something to think about. YMMV.

I wear workhogs square toe everyday too, they fit real close to the same for me. Bought Chips a couple of years back, not enough support for me, gave me plantar fascitis. And they were hot as heck. Good to see you here Adchunts, you'll enjoy this site, lots of great info.

Try Hilco, in Harlingen. They make them under the name Hilsport, and you can order on line if you want. Also, they will custom make what you want.
